Apache Guacamole is a free remote desktop application that allows users to access their desktops from anywhere through the use of a web browser. Apache Guacamole is referred to as a clientless remote desktop gateway because it does not require client software to use. Once downloaded, all you need is a web browser to access your desktop thanks to HTML5. Your computers are not tied to once particular location or device and files can be conveniently stored in the cloud. It’s also free and open source, built on a well-documented API.
